These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Notary Ledger Pro (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Description of Service

Notary Ledger Pro is a tool that helps notary public professionals track mileage, business expenses, vehicle expenses, and supply purchases, and generate summary reports. The Service is provided for lawful business record-keeping purposes only.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and professional regulations.

Your Account and Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for the accuracy of the records you enter.
• You agree to use the Service only for its intended business record-keeping purposes and not to store unlawful or infringing content.

Subscription and Billing

The Service includes a 24-hour trial that begins when you first sign in. After the trial, access requires payment of a recurring monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, as displayed in the app.

• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
• Lifetime access is a one-time purchase and remains valid for the lifetime of the Service.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• If a subscription lapses or is cancelled, access to the Service will be restricted until payment is restored.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others;
• Attempt to access, alter, or disrupt the Service, its systems, or another user's data;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent any access controls, including the trial or payment mechanisms;
• Use the Service to store false or fraudulent records intended for tax or legal deception.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the records you enter. We retain all rights not expressly granted to you.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your records will meet any specific legal or tax requirement. You are responsible for verifying your records and complying with reporting obligations.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding twelve months.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the "Last updated" date above and notify you of material changes where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
