Notary Ledger Pro ("we", "us", or "our") is a tracking tool that helps notary public professionals record mileage, business expenses, vehicle expenses, and supply purchases. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

  • Account information: your name and email address, used to create and manage your account.
  • Business records you enter: mileage entries, expense and vehicle-expense records, purchase logs, dates, amounts, vendors, and any notes or receipt images you upload.
  • Payment information: billing details processed through Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
  • Usage data: basic device and activity information used to operate and secure the service.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the tracking and reporting features of the app.
  • To manage your account, trial, and subscription or lifetime access.
  • To process payments through Stripe and verify entitlement to the service.
  • To communicate with you about your account, billing, and important service updates.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.

Data Storage and Security

Your records are stored securely and are associated with your account. Each user can access only their own data. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Payment Processing

Payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects and processes your payment details according to its own policies and applicable law. We receive confirmation of payment status and entitlement but do not retain your full card information.

Data Retention

We retain your records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the app (such as Stripe for payments), when required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Your Rights and Account Deletion

You can review and correct the records you enter at any time within the app. You may delete your account and the records associated with it from the Settings screen; doing so will remove your data from the service, except where retention is required by law.
